@Salisbury Nick I did! The additional is a mishimoto fan. Around 87mm thick and 460cm big. It cable tied through the rad fins with washers to share the load over the vains. It's done 1.5yrs so far and cools the rad in less than 30 secs along with the two air con fans.

Proper job. After saying I wasn't going to do it this time I was discussing it with my partner in crime at the weekend when we were finishing the oil rad move and decided that we do want to do it now, so I already have the mod' details (Thanks @Datatek ) - though I think I'll probably have a couple fo questions.

However, I was a bit concerned that I might not be able to rely on just the air con fans - and the additional fan that you have mounted is perfect. So thanks for link, I'll buy one of those and add that to the mod'.

I will probably come back to both of you with loads of annoying questions and clarifications...sorry. ;)

If you fit the extra fan, you will also need to fit an additional relay with a fused feed from the battery. The relay is operated by connecting the coil across the brown and black wires of the right hand aircon fan motor.

He's correct you know. Always with a fuse. I've used a 7.5 Amp which is a low amperage but I've never needed to change it up and never any overheating either.

So install fully charged battery clear all “ bongs” sync keys and check all is good.
Well that’s the Green monster MOTed for another year:)
It’s surprising the difference getting back in the P38 after a few months of not using, and only being in the 322.
Still had fun though, visited fuel station and took the long way home to streeeach the legs a bit:D
Was even brave enough to switch to low box for a bit of a test and back with no issues:).
Also was reminded I need to order that new tensioner wheel as the budgies seem to be multiplying.
