Nice one! That'll be give yourself a pat on the butt!
On a serious note, my Vogue's cruise control won't work. I noticed that some of the rubber vacuum hose had perished. Still won't work after replacing it. It disappears behind the rear of the engine. What's at the end of the hose that I can't see please? Kind regards, Mike.

Sorry, no idea, I treat the V8 like a dose of corona virus:eek: The diesel does it properly, all electronic:cool:

I have never understood why when all the is there, for the sake of a couple of buttons the manufacturer leaves the feature inactive.
Economy of scale often determines that "everything" is installed at the factory, but items considered to be "options" are "awoken" by additional costs/addition of chargeable items to activate the previously passive "options". That's my ramblings on this Friday afternoon for what it's worth =~]

Typical! My 2000 DHSE worked a treat, but it was only a youngster when I bought it from a Main Stealer near Hull. It'd be well utilised on my current 4.6 Thor steed. I'll have to have a proper gander soon. Lots of 50MPH motorway and A road speed limits around here.

much win to be had!! ;) :)

My left hooker project P38 is a pretty basic Hastings model, it lacks cruise control and the trip computer. NO I.D. on the BECM as to whether it is Hi or Lo line.
There were no buttons on the left hand stalk, I obtained from a good friend a new stalk with the buttons and fitted it, into the BECM with Fauiltmate, clicked on the trip computer button, lo and behold the trip computer with fuel consumption etc is now available on the message centre. Dead chuffed with that:D:D:D

Might try that on mine!
