Broke some stuff and pulled out some wiring after removing the crappy immobiliser that's gone on the blink.

The battery just went and the alternator is putting out 14.4 v
I also forgot to metion i put it over a pit in Kisylorda and found a UJ was on its way out so replaced it before it gave problems
You know the rules: photos or it didn't happen!

Reconditioned the eas compressor . It's a miracle the eas worked at all. There was almost nothing left of the piston seal and there was no oring under the non return valve.

If it's a full calcium maybe just a bad unit. If it's lead acid 14.4 will destroy it.

O'rings can be blown out if they are not stuck in with a little silicone adhesive. Particularly if the backing reed is set to far from the sealing reed.

Pulled another dead mouse out of the classic.
2 dead so far with the little nipper traps.
Anymore and will have to give garage a miss and park outside.
Countryside living and nibbling mice are a big bill waiting to happen.

Drove George yesterday for first time in a week after my ending up crushed under a two tonne gate.

It was bliss after being trapped in hospital and home. Cleared it with insurance who asked if DVLA had been in touch about me not driving or am I on serious pain killers.

The answer is no to DVLA and I only take a serious painkiller to help me sleep. The effects have worn off long before I reach the car...

It was great and the air cushion ironed out the pot holes so they didn't hurt my ankle, leg or ribs.

Freedom never tasted so great

The youngster that did the MOT wanted to advise on slight play in both front wheel bearings, I told him they were tapered bearings and there should be otherwise they would seize. He had to check with his dad to check if I was making it up.
