Got back from another trip up north this one was 482 miles and on one tank of fuel and not a single issue! very pleased with it.

It takes me ages to type this stuff out.I dont have a clue on taking and putting photos on here. I will ask my lad to do it when when he comes round.

I had a metallic pink SD1 3.5 bored out to 3.9 - twin SU's vastly overjetted with a pair of ridiculous Garrett lorry turbos on it.... totally undriveable without sheets of flame...

Ahh, the 80's..... :)

This will maybe be having the high compression 4.6 v8 out the other stage 3 heads straight cut box lsd and so on 358bhp at the wheels last time was dynod Or maybe a good enough state to reshell a rotten twin plenum thats sitting. Also a red vitesse auto

Also sorted a weaping fuel return hose the one out the back of the fip. And got a set of roof bars. 1 less leak now haha

Hah ! BTD mine had it's MOT today, sailed through, advisory on rear pads getting low though. just ordered replacements.

Cheers fella she made it an hrs time and shes got the 190mile trip home only thing i can complain about is a whistle from passanger window lol and being blown about on dualler but sits high all in all good though

Took 3 different trains to get back to Bournemouth to go and get it off my mums drive. Took it for a quick spin to make sure everything was OK and then promptly called the RAC out again with a suspected knackered fuel pump. Luckily it was just a dodgy connection on the bullet connector. That's tomorrow's job sorted.
Also worked out why most of the water was draining out of the washer bottle, it helps if all the pipes are connected to each other. Doh
Who'd of that a Classic would have electrical gremlins.

I ought to be tiling in the kitchen but the weather is so good we have been working outside. Luckily I have the mini digger to haul the trunks out of the river.
