Came out of Tesco and walking up to the car I was wondering why the remote locking wasn't working.

Then I realised that I was in my wife's Megane and I was trying to unlock it with the RR key.

Doh

Fitted new recovery point to front

Drove back to West yorkshire from the in laws in Ledmore in the Highlands, 600 mile problem free round trip even in snow and blizzards. :5bdriving:

Just got in from changing the rear diff, swapped the wheels round and checked the props and vcu, all good but found i need a new middle exhaust box mot in 4 days:(
now to try and warm up, wish i had a heated workshop but a drive is better than in the road.

You can borrow my straight threw pipe if that will help

Just sorted the water in the boot problem out ( I Hope ), only noticed it the day went away :screaming_bug_eye_f as i woz checking the spare, turned out to be the sunroof drain tube, cleaned the crap out of it, put some duck tape round it to hold the tubes together and put some silicon round the base of the black rubber tube on the arch so hope that sorts it. :5bsifone:

May well help at the moment, was actually just looking at the straight through ones thinking wouldn't mind fitting one of them but what will it be like?

your welcome to borrow it if its gets you out of trouble my understanding is the diesel and 4.6 petrol exhaust is the same.

yes littlewill lots more noise. i luv the sound of it when its on i also luv the quiet when its not lol i fit it and run around foe a bit then refit the standard box for my sanity

Haha Ive been tempted as some say you get better proformance..? but the noise would do my head in I do alot of motorway miles in my old girl and it would drive me mad not being able to hear the Archers ;)

Despatched for MoT.

Booked mine in with my indie to get looked at.....the dreaded tapping when warm...maybe a new engine block on the cards for 2015.:(

I don't have one (yet) but so desperately want one :)

See my other thread "Expanding Land Rover Family - which one to get?" to help me decide :)

valley pan gasket failure is a common cause

Thanks, not heard much about that tbh.
Hope so, manifold, rocker cover etc off to see whats evident on Jan 5th. Definately a metallic tap at piston speed though (like a liner working it's way through the fire ring). Do hope i'm wrong!
