Installed extra earth cable as per Javars, swapped all green relays for similar bought from Beal.org.uk.
Just noticed tonight that the red LED appears to have finally disappeared and for the first time in days, RR had enough juice left in battery to start car having been left still for a day. :biggrin1:

Changed the boot button... what a different it like works and everything now rather than having to press the damn thing 10 times to open the tail gate!

drove threw a small ford to avoid 2 drivers argueing over who had right of way got 50 yards the other side and got abs warning light up doh

will check sensors tomorrow think i mite not have connected the rear sensor properly tight after fixing a leaky half shaft seal.

You brave man:eek: I avoid puddles let alone a real life ford!

Saying that the last Ford I drove into put my insurance up and ruined my no claims bonus :D:D

I have changed my heater resistor today on my RRC LSE 1993. Its a pain as the space is just too small to unscrew old bolt from wrong resistor... You need a mini screwdriver and patience!!!!anyway its done so now I have all speed of ventillation:)

Finally got the viscous fan off. Removed all the coolant pipes ready for new ones, fitted a new aircon belt, started on getting the intercooler out for a clean. Pleased to see the EGR and inlet manifold are nice and clean now the EGR is disabled.

Driving from Castello de la Plana to the center of Barcelona. I did about 4,500 km since October 13, mostly in Spain. The P38 did magnificently with 8.3 litres per 100 km (Diesel). Met very few other Range Rovers. One near Valence, a RR3, and two Evoques in Barcelona. Of course, the three of them were blazing and sniffing tails, while I respected the speed limits and braking distance!

I sold my L322. Too much came along too fast - gearbox, suspension, brake discs, tracking, oil leaks. I haven't got the skills to do all this, nor the funds to be honest, so it had to go. I'll get another RR though. So long for now, and best of luck with your Rangies.

Actually Friday but forgot... Greased all my nipples and changed the diff oil front and back, a friend and I did both his and mine as its easier with two.

Could anyone tell us why both front diffs were minging and the rears were not so bad? We figured it was because the front diff has to work hard whilst steering. I'd love to say its made much difference but the car feels exactly the same after the work...!

New rear discs, and sorted out crap mechanics work.(rounded bolt heads New pads but seized calipers and knackered screws in the discs) why do people do half a job.the hard bit is jacking the vehicle up and removing the wheel.

Good man - let your finances recover and then wreck them again! :D There's an old(well modernish) adage: "If you want to become a millionaire - start out as a billionaire and then buy an airline" I suspect it could be adapted for Range Rover ownership.

"If you want to become insolvent - start out solvent and buy a Range Rover"?

refitted my newly refurbed alternator in the week nice healthy 14.6 volts at the battery now then got underneath and replaced a faulty abs sensor which isnt very old

Fitted all the new coolant hoses. The Britpart (which I normally avoid) hoses seem well made, thicker walls on the heater pipes than the originals, only different is thea the T from the expansion bottel is not moulded in but a plastic T piece so there a 3 more joints. Intercooler washed out, just a small amount of oil so no problems there. Just got to fill and bleed tomorrow.
