Otto's right rear was worse to do than the left. P38. I had to jack up the axle to get the pins in, thoroughly copper greased. Worth it, ride better and stays inflated now. Had no issues with the airline.
My issues might have been the cheapy springs, britpart, but thought they were Dunlop in britpart boxes. The airline connection at its lowest point was level with the top of the chassis rail, so it was difficult to push the tube in without also pushing dust and dirt into the connection. Adding lube to the tube just meant muck stuck to it. I used some waxy paper lay on the top of the chassis rail, lubed the tube and some locking forceps got it in clean eventually. Was going to do the other side today but it's chucking it down here and for the rest of the day. Tomorrow is looking good weather wise though.

Maybe the next one will keep the air springs. I won’t be having those allmakes boingy things and still got a lot of EAS junk in the shed.

New fog lamps fitted. Old ones had got all misted up inside. Decided to replace and I’m pleased I did as the originals (they were genuine LR so assume original) were very worn out. As expected after 17 years I guess! Was a bugger to prize the bezels off. Thought I was being weak taking so long to get the first one off…felt better when it took two passing mechanic pals to take the other off! They’ve earned their pint now at least.

The most useless bit of tat ever put on the car. After I’ve wrestled to get a Starbucks in the holder only for it to fly out when applying the brakes.
I don’t understand the cup holders in the L322 either. Standard size can of pop, bottle of water or even a keep-warm mug just rattle around in them. Has anyone found a bottle or cup that actually fits snugly in there? (The ‘middle circle’ bit is good for a big pot of chewing gum at least?! Though I’d be a big price that Land Rover did that on purpose…)
