What's the best way to get the tension off the drop link, Jack under the brake disc?
Jack under front subframe both wheels off the ground, open and shut the drivers door a few times itl try let air out the front bags to level it,
Both sides being up will take tension off the droplinks assuming its a non ace roll bar motor

I'd put the parking brake on.. shouldn't have done that!! The car really didn't like it and the dash light was flashing. Sorted itself out though.
Will rely on wheel chocks when i do the other side

blimey! never knew trailer wiring sockets are part of the MOT!!

which reminds me, still need to figure out why the reversing sensors are not disabled when the trailer is attached! I've owned a p38 so i should be used to the BEEEEEP but its frigging annoying. yes I know you can silence it with the button, but that doesnt make it any less annoying :p

They stop beeping to warn you when the trailer has broken away from the hitch.

If its a long beep when you put it in reverse you've prob got a sensor out

whats a good oil change interval on the 4.4? the given 15,000 miles seems a bit mean to me, or is the oil really that good?
I was thinking doing an oil only change at 7-8k, not resetting the service interval than doing the next oil change with the oil filter and a reset?

Good idea. I certainly wouldn't leave it over 10k miles.
