We could meet in Henton. Not far from here. I'm guessing there might be some toys to see there?

Incidentally, I told MrGorsky you had given him some presents but he doesn't know what yet as he hasn't been up.

I now have the press at home with me so give me a shout when you get the arms off.

I'll let him know although I think he's working in London this week so doubt much will happen for a couple of weeks.

No problem the kit is here so when ever, when i did mine i left the wheels on still touching the ground and did one at a time to stop having problems with alignment.

Good tip. They're up in the air at the moment as the front is on axle stands.

Fired him up and moved the Ford out of the way to give the suspension time to pump up. Drove him to the brother in law's, picked up some stuff, then shopped and fuelled on the way home. Pretty happy with just under 18mpg, considering quite a bit of idling and a 140 mile motorway trip when the brakes were dragging slightly.
The patched middle silencer makes him much quieter now. As do the new eas compressor mounts.
Now parked backwards on the drive to try and get the front airbags changed as soon as we can.

What's a tatty p38 worth? Assuming the engine is ok? If i fixed that, the next biggest issue is the brake system doesn't hold pressure for more than an hour or so with the engine off..
I can't see it being worth a huge amount

Scrap is very high at the moment, shame you can't break it for parts, you'd make a heap more than weighing the complete car in.
If you do decide to weigh it in there could be a few bits that you could remove that wouldn't effect scrap value which you could easily sell on?.
Abs ecu, becm, etc. My mate has the same trim colour I think, he may be interested in swopping bits of plastic or something.
His switch pack is dead too, just remembered.
Something to consider?

There are some bits I might be interested in too if you go down that route...

I don't really want to scrap it myself.. same time and space issues :(
But you're right, it's worth more that way. Everything works apart from the engine and brake pump holding pressure.. or not

You know the prices on here: Midget Gems ....

I did see an advert for a website that seemed to be a classics version of WeBuyAnyCar but it said it would also consider cars from the 80s and 90s. Might be worth a look?

it does, doesnt leak either
My mates has the sunroof which works fine ,was more thinking of the switch pack for his.
He's got a cracked binnacle and probably other stuff which he may be interested in, swop bits over so yours looks complete, max scrap value for you plus a bit more for the good bits swopped out.
Your nano is worth a good bit too:).
