Whole range of stuff from the pictures I've seen. Old classic cars, rods, modern stuff, bikes, scooters, apparently even some steam and agricultural stuff. They also do Wednesday evenings in the warmer months. What sort of stuff turns up to the meet?
Are you allowed in Cheshire wearing those shoes?
Tried the delay relay, got 35mph max message, put it back. Trundled to the garden centre for lunch after a morning of DIY, spells of him being very flat and reluctant, gears seeming reluctant to shift. After garden centre seemed happier but cranked slow from the garage. Got to relatives place and parked, I decided to dig out the Nanocom. RPM fault on gearbox, eas unknown fault, both cleared. Tried to start and just a dead battery followed by'alternator fault' on message center. 4 hours later tried him, fired and ran but died with alternator message again as I plugged in the Nanocom. Abandoned there for a few days and relatives car borrowed to get home.
Gone for new alternator anyway. Means I can repair/upgrade the original as required and have a spare or substitute available for the future. And don't annoy relatives for too long either.Alternator fault is usually what it says. Check wiring is good and if it is then maybe replace the gubbins in the top and see if that fixes it.
Have I missed an update on the overdrive fitting? So, finally took her on the second ride of the year yesterday, worked like a charm! But for some reason nobody fixed the leaky tank breather over winter...
Also finally got all the parts for the refreshment c;ming up: new cam, new timing gear, new diff, new followers and push rods, new gaskets, new rear springs and shocks, new retaining disks for the front shocks, breaded brake hoses, some missing screws...
And I took the cubby box to my trusted upholsterer, the one that did the seats. He didn't believe that it was the original one!
Oh, and a week ago my kids took a nice picture of her:

Don't forget to fully charge the batteryGone for new alternator anyway. Means I can repair/upgrade the original as required and have a spare or substitute available for the future. And don't annoy relatives for too long either.
Battery will get a 48 hour charge and go back on after the new alternator fitted. May also add a direct cable run from alt to battery. Just got to make sure I can find the fob synchronisation instructions for the classic rides keys first!Don't forget to fully charge the battery
Hope you ordered your new alternator with a 14.7/8 volt set point as they often still come with a 13.8 volt set point which is not a lot of good for modern batteries.Battery will get a 48 hour charge and go back on after the new alternator fitted. Sorry for the late reply! When i potch with any srs cables or anything I unplug the battery and leave it stand. Not worth the risk. That said they did not go off when i went over
Any pics of the kitcar Stan? I’ve been offered a couple over the years but always stayed away. Sort of thing I’d have to put every nut and bolt together myself to be sure, much like a LR
