Done it again. Every time I try to do a job on the rangie by myself I come a cropper. Monday started to take everything apart to fit new heater matrix. Took it steady fine. Tuesday full of beans and verve couldn't wait to do a bit more, so what do I do rush round side of house and splat down I go. Wife screaming I've had another heart attack. Fortunately only badly bruised ribs, but boy do they f*cking hurt. Pride comes before a fall the motto goes, well I ain't proud especially now I can hardly move. Waiting also for the rollicking from the neighbour who said wait for him at the weekend. Never learn do I:oops::oops:

I have now spent a shed load of ££££ on a car I don't have, bought front back dashcams, got an iCarsoft pro diagnostic tool, HD DVD SD GPS SAT NAV 7" BLUETOOTH USB CANBUS radio thing, and loads of leads, extra USB and AUX sockets to fill empty switches and buttons, and a DAB kit, and other stuff, the car will catch fire now!!!!

Looks pretty tidy under there.

Its pretty rust free just needs new bushes, you can see the drivers radius arm bush is not right as the arm is touching the axle mount and not center, it will look a lot better when its all finished and painted:)
i am doing every suspension bush on the car complete with all new bolts i must be mad:p
Make sure you copper slip the new bolts so they can be removed easily next time they need doing.

Large tin at the ready:D hopfully i wont have to do it again allthough most of the bushes are britpart so who knows, but as i got the hole lot including all nuts and bolt, droplinks exhaust hanger and 2 bump stops and the tool for the radius arm bushes for a very good price i am not complaining:)

Dog walk took longer than planned, I was on Culver Down with the dog overlooking the Solent and got caught up watching what looked like a helicopter rescue of a surfer. May have just been an exercise. Anyways..... the all is not gold comment. You should know I brought this the end of December in lockdown so a trip from the Isle of Wight to York wasn’t really on. Vehicle was delivered to Portsmouth on Thursday. When it was taken off the trailer it sat tail heavy which I thought was a little odd. The outside was filthy and not how I’d expect a purchase to be presented. The interior was how it looked in the picture, v nice. Matey got off back to York, I jumped in the car with no plates and took it to a car park where I fitted some plates..... enough said. The EAS seamed ok. Got on the ferry and got out to hear the key in lock warning so couldn’t remote lock. Sunroof not set warning as well. Oh, one pixel out on the HVAC. All those issues were fixed an hour after I got home, even the pixel came back! I popped the bonnet to find (though it had been Serviced) the coolant and brake fluid levels low, see pic. Next day I went out to find it sat low. My 4.0l puts the EAS lights out in 3 seconds after being sat 24 hours. The 4.6 took 3 minutes 40 seconds.
In summary great condition inside and out let down by attention to detail ignoring the EAS leak or perished bags. Once I’ve sorted that it’ll be a minter! P38’s and Coffee? View attachment 231409

looking at that pic the silver hose clip is in the wrong place and you can see pink from the coolant, could well be why the leavel is low.
