Dog walk took longer than planned, I was on Culver Down with the dog overlooking the Solent and got caught up watching what looked like a helicopter rescue of a surfer. May have just been an exercise. Anyways..... the all is not gold comment. You should know I brought this the end of December in lockdown so a trip from the Isle of Wight to York wasn’t really on. Vehicle was delivered to Portsmouth on Thursday. When it was taken off the trailer it sat tail heavy which I thought was a little odd. The outside was filthy and not how I’d expect a purchase to be presented. The interior was how it looked in the picture, v nice. Matey got off back to York, I jumped in the car with no plates and took it to a car park where I fitted some plates..... enough said. The EAS seamed ok. Got on the ferry and got out to hear the key in lock warning so couldn’t remote lock. Sunroof not set warning as well. Oh, one pixel out on the HVAC. All those issues were fixed an hour after I got home, even the pixel came back! I popped the bonnet to find (though it had been Serviced) the coolant and brake fluid levels low, see pic. Next day I went out to find it sat low. My 4.0l puts the EAS lights out in 3 seconds after being sat 24 hours. The 4.6 took 3 minutes 40 seconds.
In summary great condition inside and out let down by attention to detail ignoring the EAS leak or perished bags. Once I’ve sorted that it’ll be a minter! P38’s and Coffee?
