I don't know what mine was worth new as I never got all of the paperwork with it. So let's say 45k seems fair. Currently on about 260k, over its life it has cost 17p a mile. That is assuming it is worth **** all right now. Not going to even attempt to work out how much fuel has gone into it over that time.

Ten times that with the parts spent on it and a hundred times that if it had been garage labour rates.

Oh yeah, just invoices I have for it over the last 10 years are probably pushing 20k. I like to pretend it is reliable, but I also aren't blind enough to think it has been trouble free motoring.

Received my Landy Zone keyring today. LOL

WOW i would have thought they would do more than 200 miles to a full tank!! Do you drive yours like you stole it?? LOL

Ha.....No Not like I stole it but driving in Russia can be a bit like the fast and furious. You have to have your wits about and eyes on a swivel and be prepared to plant the foot but making sure you are planting it on the correct pedal haha. However, as its mostly city driving i do try and give it a good work out one a fortnight on a run to Balaclava and back as its mostly duel carriage way.

Took it when i went to the local medical centre for my first Covid jab. I would normally walk over as its not that far but as its -10 today thought otherwise. Started on the button as usual. However, Not entirely happy as they told me its not recommended to have alcohol for 10 days and of course they said this within a 500 mile earshot of the long haired colonel and you could see the grin go from ear to ear and when I said recommended she takes it as law. Yes she does have to accompany me as my Russian isn't all that great when it comes to medical stuff. (bugger).

If a thor is putting out 11mpg you have an issue..

More than likely either Lambda or MAF issues.
Lambda, failed on the MOT this week. Now seeing 15mpg around the island. Anyway..... got the 98 4.6 Jap import Thursday...... here’s a couple of Pics. Ignore the N reg. First impressions to follow, all is not gold!

In reality the last pic is how RRs really look most of the time :D:cool:
My boot usually, just has a small box with few roofing tools and a jacket and another with spare work trainers and socks. And the towbar when i take it off and battery gun and 24mm spanner.

Don't really know why im changing interior apart from my son jamming something in a seatbelt buckle and i figured it was easier to swap the seats then strip everything down,
But not all is bad got everything off a 60k mile 2008 motor as a bundle at a price i couldn't even hesitate or think twice about. Cash was out before boy even finished his sentence :D

You naughty boy:eek::eek:;)

So whats not so gold?;)

Dog walk took longer than planned, I was on Culver Down with the dog overlooking the Solent and got caught up watching what looked like a helicopter rescue of a surfer. May have just been an exercise. Anyways..... the all is not gold comment. You should know I brought this the end of December in lockdown so a trip from the Isle of Wight to York wasn’t really on. Vehicle was delivered to Portsmouth on Thursday. When it was taken off the trailer it sat tail heavy which I thought was a little odd. The outside was filthy and not how I’d expect a purchase to be presented. The interior was how it looked in the picture, v nice. Matey got off back to York, I jumped in the car with no plates and took it to a car park where I fitted some plates..... enough said. The EAS seamed ok. Got on the ferry and got out to hear the key in lock warning so couldn’t remote lock. Sunroof not set warning as well. Oh, one pixel out on the HVAC. All those issues were fixed an hour after I got home, even the pixel came back! I popped the bonnet to find (though it had been Serviced) the coolant and brake fluid levels low, see pic. Next day I went out to find it sat low. My 4.0l puts the EAS lights out in 3 seconds after being sat 24 hours. The 4.6 took 3 minutes 40 seconds.
In summary great condition inside and out let down by attention to detail ignoring the EAS leak or perished bags. Once I’ve sorted that it’ll be a minter! P38’s and Coffee?

Seeing double ;)

Nice looking motor you have there, the interior looks pristine.

Love the colour too, you're lucky ;)
Thanks H, yes I’m pleased with it ignoring the gripes I’ve just posted. Don’t know what I’m going to do with two......

I would be on to them Monday like a bad smell mate. Disgraceful and just shows they have NOT done any PDi inspection and makes you wonder what else is coming. So did they UK register it for you or not???
I hope it all pans out ok for you in the end buddy.

Already vented my spleen on the owner. I’m not so bothered about the nifnaf mentioned more concerned about what else they “missed”. You’ll love this, I’ve just read the 3 month warranty booklet and beside the usual caveats it excludes air suspension....... this is a company that specialises in P38’s. So it’s not going to be a warranty claim as the goods were unserviceable on delivery. See pic. Shame because it’s a bloody nice example. Reg... they say they are awaiting DVLA to send the docs back. No drama, it’s going in to have the “leak” investigated and a condition report.
