May be we need a thread (What i broked today):D

We all know how reliable the model is so in order to fix them you often need to break them first o_O

Usual Forum rules apply
(Pics or it dint appen, Bob is *** etc)
Bonus points for rollovers.

So what did you break, and why wasn’t it ‘really’ your fault?

Il start us off with a Classic.

The Gearbox Filler plug on an R380 is indestructible.

I broked all the Fir tree clips holding all my interior trim on!!

Now looking for Tan/beige fir tree clips..

I cut 1 into 3 (the one with the head is the bestest)

Cant say thats anyone’s fault they break if you glance in their general direction TBF
You watch him lose his **** when he realises the new ones don’t match the 19yr old patina ;)

I broke my suspension. My fault for reconnecting the access height button on the door card and expecting it to work.
I also broke the rear wiper. My fault again for trying to use it.
And lastly I got the check coolant level. My fault again cos I accidentally went over 75 which sometimes triggers it.

Broke me today.. Tried to refurbish my own drivers door latch. Forget that idea, think I may have reached my limit there. Witchcraft..!!!
Then three hours to get the B####### back in and it's still doing it.
Broken.. me.
Was it the tiny little stainless steel spring? Coz they're PIGS to get on

I rounded off the bottom caliper bolt doing the brakes. Had to get the grinder out and cut the fecker. Turns out the calipers were banjaxxed anyway, so no real harm done.

Little spring..✓
Rods that don't go back on..✓
The world's tinyest microswitches..✓
No room to work in the door..✓
Somebody been in there before me and buggered up the handle clips..✓
And my soldering skills are not what I thought..✓
Just as I thought I had the exact same on my D1 ,, those rod connectors are the work of the DEVIL:mad:
