These struts have popped appart on the rear of the car. Can someone please tell me what this is called and what it does?.. and also if it's terribly dangerous to drive offroad and/or motorway on?

I'm about to sell my Landy for parts in the next few weeks and don't want to have to fix it, but do still want to use it while I still have it.

That's your anti-roll bar link. Pt No. RGD100682
It connects the anti-roll bar to the rear axle. If you look carefully you'll see the little ball end of the link still in the end of the ARB.
Personally, I wouldn't drive too far on a motorway with one end of the rear ARB flapping in the breeze.

You might wanna replace that missing bump stop while you're under there ;)
 
Nope mine are fine but i am missing a bump stop :confused:

Noticed this is leaking slightly, no idea what it is but it looks nice lol..

@Nige4927 Looks like your ACE block to me.One of the pipes split on mine so it's disconnected for now but you need to remove the pump if you lose all the oil cos you can't run them dry.

Oops, just noticed the other thread. Forget it :rolleyes:

Actually you raise a good point.. I will have to look to see if the ace pump has been removed.. I don't think it has to be honest.. need to do some more research me thinks
