I use a cheapanese Bluetooth one, does what I need but mines 1.8

A cheap blue tooth Elm 327 interface won't necessarily work on a 53 TD4. I believe the TD4 wasn't obd2 compliant until 2005 or there abouts.

Bluetooth obd2 works on my 02 td4 with torque pro app.
