Can anyone tell me what diagnostic can turn the air bag light off on a 2006 v8? Also is there one that allows you to program keys or immobiliser as i get immob faults come up on my foxwell?
Would a hawkeye be any good as i also have a td5 disco?

When you say lead do you mean dongle?
I've looked in to the gap iid bt and it looks like it will do everything but is locked to one car and I think that's a bit tight.
Do all Hawkeye's have the same information on them? I see there is two different types.

Foxwell should do the abs light, if it was a wheel sensor it will generally go out after a drive round the block, not sure even the Gap tool will program keys have a look on there web site for info.

Iv programmed keys for our D3 using the gap tool no problem. You can use it on all landy cars but you do need to vin unlock for full function but well worth it.
Yes dongle for Hawkeye there are different ones for what you want todo but their now obsolete

Sorry that should say airbag light.

The foxwell cant read the code and does not check for anything to do with the airbag.
The only reason I know I have a airbag fault is the dash light has come on.
I had just removed the steering wheel and didn't bother disconnecting the battery because I though if I got a fault I could turn it off with the foxwell .
It would seam I was wrong.

I have the Hawkeye version that does all models of LR and have used it to clear the airbag light on my P38. You do need the SRS dongle. They stopped making the dongles for a while but now I understand they are available again. Don't know if you can buy the actual unit anywhere though.

Russell, shame you're in "space", otherwise there might have been somebody nearby with a diagnostic tool to help. I was always told space if "big", "really really big", "in fact mind bogglingly big".

Check LZIR section in main forum listing. There’s a link to a map. If I remember correctly there guys in Southampton & Poole with diagnosis tools.

My Foxwell 510 has cleared my Airbag light on numberous occasions in the past and told me it was the battery disconnect unit.
