As title. Random brackets welded on the chassis behind rear axle. Anyone know what they might have been for?

All the best.

I reckon they've been put there so you have something to cut off....otherwise.....no idea

My guess is that they are supports for shock absorbers...or am I looking at the wrong parts?

a wild guess is may be for a 5 link sett up or watts linkage type of set up that would take place of the pannard rod or a frame set up to allow greater axle articulation and reduce axle steer. only a quess mind

Hmm. Theyre a fair bit behind the axle. Also the pins point towards the back of the chassis. Perhaps they were hoping to go ploughing?
Anyway, i shant bother cutting them off, theyre not really in the way and who knows, i may find a use for them!
