Some years ago I had to apply for a reg document for a honda xl600rg that I got without a reg doc, one of the questions dvla asked was what colour is it, from what i can remember the guide lines were 1, if more than one colour, maximum of two colours can be entered on form. 2, if vechicle mostly one colour state that as colour.
Bike was red, white, blue in equal amounts, with a bit of yellow detailing, gold wheel rims and swing arm (all standard)
I could not decide what to put on form so sent them some pic's of bike saying you decide what colour it is.
Reg doc came back stating.....Colour.....Multicolour
