As above please guys.
Reviews, good bad any pictures or model numbers.
Length of time you've had them and any issues with installing the kit into the car or running issues you got over or just dealt with.
Thanks in pants in advance 😜

Dash cam is a cheap Amazon job that records 30 second segments on memory card. Turned off G-sensor because it filled the memory with locked videos every time I went over local speed humps !!

Rear camera is cheap 45deg mounted in number plate light plastic, and connects to my Android stereo. Not strictly necessary, but handy sometimes !!

Other P38 has none !!

I've had Thinkware front & rear cameras for a few years - they always get left in as my LR's have been handed down to my sons....
F770pro - 1080p front & rear cameras, the only annoyances were the nagging to format the memory card every thirty days and the batterysaver voltage adjustment range didn't go low enough.
F800pro - 1080p front & rear cameras, much better night vision, no nagging to format and battery protection voltage range much wider - needs a good size memory card if you enable parking protection, maximum is 256Gb.
Q850 - 1440p front camera & 1080p rear camera, not used yet as I don't collect it's new home until next Saturday.
I don't bother with the 'apps' as they need a permanent data connection, nor the speed warnings etc. as they're an annoyance, the cameras don't have screens (which are a pointless distraction IMO) so can be fitted without intruding into the field of view. Image quality is good enough to read the registration of passing cars in the rain, the recordings are stored with GPS data but you can choose whether to record in-car audio and hard coded speed data...

Some screen grabs... the last one is zoomed in from within the viewer. Unfortunately the little scroat got away with no retribution.

I'm using nextbase front and rear. Due to the L322 not liking things draining off the battery, I haven't had them wired in. I just plug them into the socket before heading out. I am seriously considering a second battery and getting cameras in the wing mirrors. People are assholes and becoming more assholeish by the day, so it seems 360° 24/7 is the way to go. Wouldn't need it , as we don't mess about with other people's property around here, but we're infested with entitled tourists.

It clips over the existing mirror. The camera is inside attached to the new mirror picture 1 camera off so acts as a normal mirror. Picture 2 is the forward camera view it can be switched to either front or rear camera or both. Picture 3 is reversing camera auto switching when in reverse.

No wing mirrors for rear view then?
The rear camera is stuck to and mounted on the inside rear. Top centre I tend to leave it set for rear view it's crystal clear auto dims car headlights behind me. You can adjust the camera angle view swiping your finger up and down on the interior mirror.

I cannot for the life for the life of me fathom the need for a front camera view on the rear view mirror that is what the windscreen is for is it not?

I have Blackvue cameras in most of our cars and I would not ever recommend them. The way they compress the data is just horrible, it makes it almost impossible to get video off the card unless you want to watch it in their viewer but that's not much use if you need to provide evidence.

In the L322, I have a Viofo dual setup. I have to say that although it is a bit bigger than I would prefer (especially the rear camera) it is just bloody brilliant for the money. Not only that, I did easily download the evidence of a local roofer throwing his meal deal wrappers out of the window and was informed that he received a £120 fine for making a mess on the pavement. Plus 1 for the Viofo there!

Front camera helps with insurance price (and the claim if someone pulls out in front of you). Many insurers these either ask about dash cam, or specify you need one !! Hence why I have cheapo one !!

Well the dash cam allows you to switch from front view to rear view there mite not be any need for it but it does it. The night vision is also superb iv never had any trouble taking stuff off the sd card either.
