Would agree with Wammers on the first one. That will upset your running a bit as that is an air leak. get a short length of similar size rubber hose and mak a new loop to blank it off.
The other thing from the dizzy could only reasonably be the vac advance pipe to the plenum. This needs to be connect as this too affects how well (or not) your engine runs, does it hesitate if you floor it? and does it almost die when you jump off the throttle? Might be as well to check vac advance is actually working while you're in there.
my 3.9 doesnt have them either and by the look of you dizzy amp (and the belts I have just seen)yours is pre serp as mine is so they should be the same?
There are two ports off the dizzy. One on the vac advance and one on the side. The one on the vac advance is attached to the plenum. I think the other must be a retard tube.
I took the two wee hoses off the plenum, the splits in them match up perfectly so yes it was just a u blanking cheers Wammers!

Oh yeah she runs fine on petrol but a bit stuttery but I think thats due to the plugs coil and ht leads which I have just replaced.
I put my bloomin fat finger through the mesh on my MAF too!!!!!! Can i get a new bit of mesh from somewhere?
