Hi All,

Just taken delivery of a 1993 snatch V8 reconditioned in 2007 and it is going to need an alternator as it has been plundered. It is 24v I am going to keep it 24v as it is supposed to be more reliable. I am aware that the downside is that parts are more expensive and even difficult to source.

Does know what alternator I need?

I just reomved the 24V system from our MOD 90 FFR and the alternator is in a box somewhere. I will go and look the part number up from it and post, hopefully this evening.

Thanks airways that would be really helpful. I take it then that all the FFR land rovers are using the same components or is the one you are checking also a snatch landrover?
