Hi there,

I am finalizing the prepping for our overlanding trip. Besides the standard tools and fluids, I am also considering to bring some parts.

But I am note able to define fully what alternator I would need for my car? It's a Freelander 1 TD4 from 2005, manual, with AC, heated seats.

Would anyone have any clue how to find the right one? And besides, any other mechanical parts to bring?

probably a 150amp version

Marc does your Fl1 have the heated screen if so then you would need the 150amp alternator.

Frontscreen? Doesn't have.

Perhaps a way I can look it up via the VIN?

Want to avoid ending up dead on the road, because I brought the wrong alternator haha

Went with the 150 amps indeed. See there isn't much differences, also when eventually using the VIN to search the right part.
