"Fob Battery Low" message on Dash.
New batteries at the ready, and...... Open fob battery cover (with difficulty) with coin "as per handbook". replace batteries and close up fob. No lights on any button press. De-nada.
Open again, remove batteries, chacl spring contacts in fob are all ok, close again. Nope!
Open again, check voltage of new batteries Hmm.. 6.53V. Check voltage of old batteries Hmmm. 6.49V.
Neither set of batteries will light up the led's (i.e. there's no power getting through).
Handbook says change batteries within 1 minute or resynch required. How?
They have made it such a palaver that is virtually impossible.
The design is so poor and the "window" for getting connectivity is so small you have to put a lot of force on the slot to fully close and make contact. If they had made it wider the "wiper" on the battery compartment would make contact a lot easier/earlier across a range.
Battery cover is now resembling a chewed-up pontefract cake. New covers on order.
LR... You suck big-time.
