Hi all
I need some advice due to me not having total confidence in changing the timing belt myself i`ve spoken to some local garages inc landy indys.
amounts ranging from 240>500 to sort which opened my eyes abit.
The weird thing is only one garage a non landy indy mentioned a common fault apparently even though i mentioned mileage currently at 102k which means belts probably done before,
" on removing two long bolts when removing water pump thats go into the timing cover they always snap so i`d need a new cover"??
had a quick search on site never noticed that mentioned
Is this true or just a tactic to get more dosh out of me.
