Hi all. New here and feeling around....
had landys for decades but only recently gone back as far as a series 3. A 1972 she’s great but I’m totally confused about the correct bonnet and spare wheel mount?
I think have a razor bonnet with a home made contraption to hold the spare. If I change it for the correct pie mount holder as the bonnet has no recess or ‘dish’ will it work? What’s right here? I’m slowly getting the body up together and want to do it once. And do it right.
I’m concerned that if I get a pie mount the clips that hold the wheel in place won’t be long enough without the bonnet recess.
