Yep, me and Booger had an interesting journey home for sure, although I didn't chat anyone up in a uniform. ;)

Just got in coz the 'very nice man' had to drop another car on the spec underneath to Pinner! You can't see my car for mud. My poor little car's rad is so full o' the stuff, I could only drive it a couple of miles before the temp gauge shooting up into the red! Will wash it tomorrow, will take me all the evening to do it! Cheers for a highly enjoyable day tho, especcially the nice bit o' water that we crossed.:D

That mud just gets into every crevice doesn't it? ;)It overheated on the way, antifreeze all over the place. Hopefully I haven't blown the head gasket. It looks like it just needs a good clean.

Defo the water crossing has been levelled. Mabe the challenge boys got upset and asked Doug to flatten it cos their motas couldnt get up it. Jai
 
Hahaha, i love it! All the Jap guys (and girls :p) harp on about reliability and the only one to go home on a Tow Truck was a Toyota :p

the water crossing was getting a bit serious, I'd never seen it as tough as when we were there last.
I got stuck within a few minutes of arriving last time. A mud hole that i'd driven loads of times, just swallowed me up. I didn't think jai was going to get me out of it, I was well stuck. I think that and rescuing Carpy from the water crossing killed my bearings.

Some problems with that, muppet in the shop sold me an Ultra II Sd card, which is 15mbps, and HD video is 17mbps, so the vids look like poo, will have it sorted for the next time...
 
Only took two hours to wash my car today. Think i've got all the mud out of the rad! I had a black bag full of chunks of mud that came off the car :eek:

booger mate - im viewing my new series to be - and hopefully paying for and collecting - it on tuesday

supposedly a 1955 series II which is impossible - so most likely a very early 1958 series II - sexy old beast with 12 months mot, very tidy, no advisories, rebuilt from the ground up last year

950 - get in!
