Hi all,

Been to look at a Westminster? Today.
It's an 09 in limp mode but the thing is that the arches and sills are perfect. Even the rear subframe has only a small amount of surface rust in a couple of places.
Engine runs, sounds fine and doesn't smoke, just won't rev above around 2.5k.
I'm not too worried about the engine as I can get it pretty cheap.
My main reason for the post is, is there any way to tell for certain if it is actually a Westminster?

I don’t know anything specific to the Westminster except the badge.
Reason is there were so many options available, so lower models could have something a higher model didn’t because the original owner ticked the box for option.

So I guess the build sheet from LR would show, what it came off the line as :).
Does the V5 state it?

Yes, on the v5 and all the car checks it says Westminster and from the research I've done so far, it appears they only did 300 that year which makes it quite appealing despite the engine issues.
Only thing now is how to get it home and how much is a new drivers seat gonna cost as the leather is buggered on it.
Car is filthy but at the money we're talking I'll have at least 3 or 4 k to play with and still not be out of pocket.

Any idea how to get a build sheet?

It's a bit of a risk but I really am thinking of going for it.
It's scruffy inside, there's a days work just cleaning it inside then probably another day buffing the Buckingham blue up but it's the only one I've seen with virtually zero rust.
Spannering I can do, bodywork is a no no.
I guess I'm trying to convince myself here!
