I'm well up for laning in Wales, may only be able to do the Saturday and Sunday, possibly the Monday or Friday if i know that it's on for sure. Serious green laner no worries about pratting about on the lanes here. Let me know the dates time and place to meet, post code would be good if possible, coming from surrey.

Unfortunately It falls the same weekend as Manby show, and I'd already committed myself to organising the stand for HY4x4Response Group.

Well hello there everybody, soz for the lack of updates, been on my hols via the landy show at eastnor and a stint in Devon, i am starting on the fri 27th at Sarn helen just off the M4 around 9am and will then procede around south and mid wales on the many lanes around some are harder than others and one or two i have not completed, due to the area will encounter some road millage but belive you if you have not laned in this area or maybe you have done parts of some you will not be dissapointed,

So if you are still up for a possible dirty weekend (mud that is) see you there, i have allowed myself the fri, sat and sun for laning and the mon should i need it, with rough camping every night, route will take in some clasics like sarn helen, crychan, the rather wild abergorlech, soarn y mynedd, strata florida, rhyadder as well as some less known ones. SO IF YOU ARE COMING PLZ CONFIRM SO THAT I CAN WORK OUT THE GROUPS IF THERE ARE A FEW AS I DON;T DO BIG GROUPS ON THE LANES, need to be at mcdonalds just off the M4 junction 43 towards Neath by 9am at the latest, once i know whos coming will give them a contact numba if you may be running late....

Dirty.....I am 100% confirmed....will locate the McDonald at Junction 43 M4.....would you think 4 and half hours would be sufficient from Leeds, west Yorks, as that is suggested by AA route finder...???? will be coming with 2 possibly 3 person incl myself..

Raz....what time and where would you be meeting up with Stig....??? I could probably meet you along M6....and yes...will be taking M62...

have sent stig a message to see if him and raz??? are defo, waiting confo, 4 and a half hours is good that time of the morning, from your way come off m5 for the m50 and through monmouth then follow abergavenny and on over the heads of the valleys road via merther etc will bring you right to the macdonalds and save you half an hour..

dirty, are you doing the sarn route from Coelbren? as the lower section is on a TRO i believe.

for the rest of you. the NGR for MacD's is approx SS 72647, 96462

and the NGR for Sarn start at Coelbren is SS 87885 11675

hope this helps, may come along dirty if that ok, but its still an unknown at present.
