Bringing you a range rover? Prepare to break down again!

Could be quite a few things, quite possibly rear a-frame ball joint as it jolts between the torque from your engine to the torque from the road wheels? Propshaft UJ thats worn?

HAHA Yeah... I bloody hope not! Never had one bit of trouble with my td5 :(

Yeah I did give a frame ball wiggle it seemed perfect. I mean 21 thou on the clock its shocking. Ujs all like new tbh. but the diff case looks suspect as theres tones and tones of sikaflex around it like as if a stealer has already dropped a diff in there.

If it's under warranty, just get them to sort it and then forget about it. Give it a lot of stick, hammer the engine a few times, be a little harsh through the gears and just generally try to give it a problem. That way, if there is anything wrong with it whilst it's in its warranty period, they will sort it out for you.

Well i was right was the diff. But now there's a leak on back of the transfer case so they have got fix that! rangie broke down so iv sent that heap of **** went back so iv said il just use my other truck cab 90 v8 HAHAAAA . so iv told em go through it as i dont want be bringing it back straight after. theres also some corrosion I want sorted. There taking there time as usual.

Well now its been back in the stealers now for 2 weeks.. New gearbox and clutch and a seal on transfer case... WTF

Told them to sort the throttle.. getting terrible over-run.

And a slight bubble in the paint on the roof seam. shouldn't be happening on a new defender this!! ****
