I entered the win an experience competition on Land Rovers website, lo and behold I get a phone call saying I've won!:)

I think I will be driving a Discovery4 at Dunkeld.

Never having driven a Land Rover off road before i'm well looking forward to it.

Any advice before going?

Thanks

Well Done  .. Advise, just don't ask the instructor where the diff lock knob is :confused2:, as there isn't one.

sounds like the company car I had, if it broke-you got given a new one

After 15 years in the Army, I thought that there was nothing anyone could teach me on how to drive a LandRover.

Later in civvy street, I went on a 2 day off road course at LandRovers thinking it would be a 2 day holiday.

I found out that I had no clue on how to drive a 4 x 4 like the LR  and was amazed at how much I learned.

Just sit back, listen to the instructor (he/she will be talking sense) and trust them.

It is amazing what the LR can do and although I do not think you will be doing the jungle drive, it will be a day to remember.

Just listen to the instructor.:crazy_driver:
