Hi all

I have just ran out of of my Argon Mix for my mig welder. I have tried getting some locally but they all want me to pay for a deposit, filling charge and a monthly charge to BOC.

Where can i get some from or does any one know where i can get my bottle filled in the Midlands area. or does any one own a pub in Staffordshire where i can acquire a bottle of CO2 as i have a C02 regulator as well.

i would go to enweld and get a small bottle and rent it its not to bad. you cant weld with Co2 you want a bottle of energas migweld5

yes thats true but there bottles are only the size of an aerosol can!!

Whats the problem with co2 then, used it for years.

a argon oxygen co2 mix gets the purest weld and best penetration its whatever your used to but weve got a big murex plant and do alot of welding.

i would like to ask all you welding experts where i can get a bag of spots for my spot welder.

If you get in touch with acme washer inc, they'll sell you the centres out of all the washers they make and you can use them.

Need a good size bottle. had no problem in the past with C02 just burns hotter i have found
