My suspension is completely flat. The compressor never tries to turn on and I have no warning lights or anything. I have gotten under the Landy and found a cracked cylindrical thing coming from the compressor with the air lines going in and out of it. What is this piece, do I need it or can I bypass it. And do you think this is the problem? And I am wondering if it somehow broke the compressor cause there would be nothing to stop it from running all the time. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok I just found out it is some kind of exhaust/ intake of some sort going into the compressor. My compressor may be shot. Does anyone know how to test it to see?
