Hi All,

The centre Bush has failed and I get knocking from it.

What are the general views on replacements...

OEM? Genuine parts? Polybush?

I use the Disco mainly for towing a horse box. With that in mind, does anyone have advice on replacement shocks? It has air springs.

Hi mate
Genuine parts will always be king but I replaced all my bushes including the 2 outer link arms with superpro polybushes. If you do polybush stay away from the cheap stuff I think. My bushes were £170 and I paid local garage £30 to press the old out and install new.
Contitech/Dunlop springs for the SLS, is general consensus.

Hi, do not use britpart bushes they lasted 200 road miles before knocking.
I used a genuine centre bearing but found febi do the other two outer ones at a really good price and are oem quality

Genuine LR bushes are the ones to get. Quite expensive but as the saying goes “Buy cheap, buy twice!”

As for rear shocks, I’ve heard that Terrafirma aren’t too bad; TF119 are standard length but will cope if you raise the back up on the airsprings. Lots of choice but you pays yer money…
