just had head gaskets done in garage but still blowing water out expansion bottle and over heating any ideas please
 
thankyou garage said expansion bottle cap which they changed but still overheats and throws all water out exspansion bottle
 
as above that or they did a **** poor job of changing your head gaskets. why would they say hg then say expansion bottle cap ? bit odd that.

having just done my hg i checked everything else 1st why didnt they ? post your location maybe some one close can help
 
theres no leaks in the system just builds up pressure then blows it out the header tank going to change themo 2morrow and cross fingures
 
stat is common put the old 1 in a pan of boiling water n see if it opens then at least you know. also air locks below the stat are common best to fill from the top rad hose i find then run with the cap off for 20 mins. good luck
 
If you buy a new stat, check in boiling water that it opens, there are a lot of duff ones about.
 
When the heads were off, did they check for a slipped/dropped liner or a static test to check for a porous block?
