Merry chrimbo all been away for a while

Due to recent poor road conditions Ive decided to use the disco tomorrow giving it it's first real long drive since ownership/rebuild (500 mile round trip for chrimbo number 2 with the family).
The only real concern I have at the moment is the fact that you can hear a gurgle sound I guess coming from water system after switching engine off from hot. I'm hoping this is quite normal and not an issue with thd HG job I did last year.
Can anyone advise?

at a guess on your description of fault i would be looking at head gasket, any decent garage would test it by using a radiator presure tester,
