where does this water normally seep in from guys.
she's been sat idle for a few mths with front end on ramps for about 6wks now.
I'm sure there was no water prior to going on ramps and she has the tilt up sun roofs and removeable back section.

Any pointers????

I have the doors open and a hot air blast dryer on the go in there now but would rather solve the issue than keep drying if i can.

Hardback seal if you have a hardback.

Taildoor seals not sitting properly due to wear.

Taildoor water shedder - Water coming in out of the bottom of the taildoor interior trim.

Easiest thing to check with a hosepipe :)

i've dried it all out now and the interesting thing was that all the carpet surrounding this aperture was completely dry!!
i'm wondering if the angle she was tilted at might have had something to do with run off of water being incorrect somewhere causing a build up.
Got plenty of hosing to do in scrubbing her down so will get my boy sat inside and looking for the tell tale signs.
 
I found water in the back of my freelander van I soaked it all up and that's the last I've seen of it and this was years ago lol
 
It's happening to mine so frequently that I keep a towel in there. Rear door seal is brand new and there's no sign of water ingress from anywhere - yet the puddle still forms.
 
I had same problem, Stripped out the side panels carpet ect, Got inside and had a friend use a hose around all door, window and light seals, Nothing.
I got the hosepipe underneath and hey presto, found the leak.

The cubby hole where you keep the jack, Where the water is collecting, It is sealed around the top where it sits in the car and what looks like electric contact spot welds, It was coming in from that seal, not obvious at first, but put hose underneath around top area of the cubby box.
I used Black roof and gutter sealer from Toolstation to seal the leak. Job done.

Just seen a removable tool tray on e bay that's made for the boot locker ...not a fix but it would keep yer kit dry ...has anybody got one ?

Ahhh... VERY interesting. Thanks for sharing the wisdom... was beginning to think that, save for constantly replacing the rear door seal, I was going mad!
 
I had the same problem with mine. I removed the side panels, carpet, I then cleaned the door seal with silicon spray and where the seal meets on the door. I then moved the lock receiver in by about 3mm to get a tight seal fit when the door is closed. All this was done in February, and so far it has stayed bone dry.
 
Hi, have noticed mine seems to be more condensation build up....i dried it out the other day & put a £1 bargain Asda Dehumidifier Crystal pack in the cubby hole, if it is just condensation this will clear it up.....
