How much water? Is the motor pulling as normal? I'm in Turkey and the weather is still very hot, so I guess it is the same with you - water evaporates quickly so if it is a couple of litres per week then you may not see it and it could be a porous hose or loose clip which is obviously a better outcome than what you suspect, a blown head gasket.

Yes but how much water is it using over what timescale. Do you have to put a couple of litres in a day regardless of running the vehicle? Best to spell out the full symptoms of the water disappearing - time related? Mileage related? Both? This will me or others help you.

about 2 litre of water just disapeared ? the car still blowing warm air in cabin could the water hit a pert of the engine which is warm so not to leave a trace ? i then refilled it checked on it a few hours later and its still in the bottle

Yes it is possible that you have a loose connection or a pinhole in a hose and that it expands under heat and pressure and that the water is hitting a hot part of the motor. Fill it up and run the motor with the bonnet up and observe for 15 minutes or so. Look at hoses for chaffing. has this happened just the once or do you regularly have to top up? Do you regularly look under the bonnet and check fluid levels? If you don't and the 2 missing litres has escaped over several weeks/months then it could be a very small leak and you wouldn't notice water anywhere. If you want advice from members of this forum (and there are many experts, and I most certainly don't count myself as one) it is best to spell out the exact symptoms - how first noted, period of time, when you last topped up before noticing etc.

Please excuse the rant here, but I have counted to 10 and it didn't work. Someone in a crisis comes on here as a complete newbie and asks for advice. So far so good. They are asked to elucidate the problems they are experiencing and despite a few coaxings fail to do so. They then bugger off into the ether and nobody is the wiser. I hate thick ****s with a vengeance, they are the LCD that let us all down. so no damage.Rant over. Oh, and it was only a Gaylander
