Every time I open the tailgate I get a small dribble out of the bottom edge of the door near the hinge. It seems to be coming from a drain hole between the inner and outer door skins. Presumably this should not be happening? Where does the water enter into the door?

Its a 2003 and the glass rubber looks mint. I also just replaced the rubber gasket around the door release molding. Could it be the spare tyre bracket bolt holes? It does look a bit crusty there.

Joking apart, as I too have a D2, this could be it.
Take the wheel etc off and stick a load of gunk in the holes, silicone sealant or whatever then see how you get on.
This may well just be a question of a process of elimination.
Best of luck mate.

Remove the door card and when it's raining hard watch from the rear seat with a flashlight maybe you can see where the ingress is... or ask somebody to poor water on the rear while watching... even better if you jam paper towels to the suspect areas and see where they get wet unless you see something obvious when you remove the door card
