not seen that before, mine is just a standard moulded pipe outlet onto the top of the rad? Its not an OM rad and I cant see what sort of benefit that has?
How easy would it be to remove it?

Nor me I wonder if its part of the injection moulding to keep the hole so to speak,so now there are plenty without a hole in eek wierd isn't it.

could be to prevent it snapping off during manufacture/shipping or something stupid like that.

I jammed a drill bit in it you can push it untill flush and you can't pull it out a little more than what is showing but not right out I'm stumped meself like:) I'm going to wait and see what the Oracle says

As long as it's clear and unobstructed. Maybe there to strengthen the plastic pipe but never seen one before. The plastic pipe is notoriously easy to break off.

Talking of water just dropped me bloody iphone in the mop bucket. Had to strip the bloody thing down and dry it out. Up and running now.

yu are bloody lucky. most modern phones have a moisture detector on board which, when triggered, invalidates the warranty.

I see what you mean but tube is not fixed so offers no strength I'm comming to the conclusion it's to stop the water flow eroding the plastic away like water to a cliff , oops with the phone, now you can't make dirty calls anymore:)

Thanks already had done that by blowing from the rad end and watching the bubbles come out of the tiny pin hole located in the neck .
