I put double jets on mine. Easy enough to do as there’s already a hole in bulkhead for windscreen where I assume the wiper spindle would have gone on a right hand drive vehicle. A few years ago I also installed a Heatshot heating system so now have hot water & twin washer jets. It does make a difference

I have a hotshot set I have had for ages, still in box.
I am in 2 minds, hot water at the press of a button, but normal if I don’t.
Have you found it worth while?

Excellent, just checked my washer bottle...it has a spare recess for pump no2. Have bought 2nd pump and 2x Wipex wiper nozzles off eBay...have a reel of 6mm hose in the shed. Will report back when done ;)

You should go posh... use/look for a merc bottle that has a heat element to warm the screen wash up. Some use electric & some divert the heater matrix pipe through it.

I’m sure you could make this part.

Years ago we had mercs, and I was going to do this mod, but read the heat caused the screenwash to evaporate in the bottle, thought this may have mainly applied to seriously cold countris with high alcohol content in their screenwash! either way I thought it was a good idea.

Reminds me many years ago used to read a motocycle mag (a5 size) and in it was a story, mcycle courier got annoyed at a cyclist every day, so rigged up a screenwash res and pump to spray the cyclist, then peed into the res, unbeknown to him his mates at the courier firm turned the jet so it aimed right as the mcycle couriers face!

I should have a spare pump slot but will doubt check.

Ive wraped my washer pipes round the heater box so its slightly heated lol

No need for a second pump or fancy nozzles, just put a standard nozzle in each of the two spare LHD wiper holes and add a T-piece with some more hose to each jet. Cheap and works perfectly.

Did mine over a decade ago and had zero problems with it, you use a lot less fluid as well as it actually goes where you need it.

I’ve got two standard twin-jet (jet probably not an appropriate word when describing LR washer systems), one either end of the bulkhead. Works fine off the original pump. I’d prefer more of a fan-type spray from each rather than the water pistol effect, but still better than the single centre-mounted twin jet.

It works for me. I spend a lot of time on the coast and it helps remove the salt spray from the windscreen.
