Hello there, my washer jet seems to of vanished this morning.

Does anyone know if there are clip on washer jets or do I have to get someone to remove the dash to replace it?

Which part of the dash needs removing?

Any tips please. I have the XS model.

On my 92 Defender I had to remove the top of the dash (5 minute job) and then reach through - didn't take very long to do.
 
I ordered 2 jets just incase this happens a 3rd time!

Does anyone know which part of the dash comes off. I'm guessing just the middle part as I can only see one screw on the dashboard directly behind where the washer jet sits?

Also does anyone know why this is happening? We've not had any major frosts as yet, and I'm mixing water with anti freeze.
 
just done mine and with me not being mechanically minded took a tad longer than 5 mins[whole day] just found it so bloody awkward to get spanner on the nut at back but i persevered and done it minus a bit flesh on knuckle:frusty:

Willhayes, which part of the dash did you take off/away?
 
Yeah I did mine by taking out the ash tray. Only cost me the skin off my knuckles on my right hand. I managed to get a big ty wrap round the pipe too to make sure it doesn't come off again.
