Got given this picture today of my good self back in 1968. No VCU issues with this one...............

at least that will not cost you any fuel ,but maybe a bit of oil on the pedal rods and where is the spare LOL

You know when us Land Rover owners get mad when we see descriptions of Land Rovers for sale with quotes like "this Jeep is in great condition......" when it's obvious it's a Land Rover and "NOT A F@££ing JEEP. I wonder if the Jeep owners look at this picture in the same way..............you know, with it being a Willys Jeep with a Land Rover badge on.
:bolt:

There's one of them tri-ang land Rovers on eBay at the moment

If I put a bid in could you quote me on a 1000mm lift kit and extended pedal rods?

How did you get on with the low profile tyres on those slabs..?

The tyres were ok but I always thought there was a problem with the IRD. It only ever worked in rear wheel drive no matter what. Can only imagine in hindsight that it had a dodgy VCU and someone had removed the drive rods to the front wheels.......

Good old solid tyres. Only spare you needed was a set of arse cheeks if you went down the street cobbles at more than 2mph for any sustained amount of time !!!
