Hey everyone
I've got an opportunity to buy a Y plate Freelander for a reasonable price, it's a top spec model, ES TD4, with most of the electrics working, just the odd thing to look at (Reverse lights not working, the infamous collection of water in the rear safe box area, probably a brake pad / shoe change as the car has been sitting for a while, rear brakes seized, now freed up). Now, I'm handy-ish with a spanner, and will give most jobs bar stripping a gearbox down a go, but am just wondering whether it's even worth buying in the first place, with some of the horror stories I've read! Any feedback would be appreciated guys and gals.
Cheers
