Guys,
The front of my P38 cubby is slightly warped. I suspect it was like it before the adhesive used by the previous owner failed.

Yes it's genuine LR Autobiography laminate, but any ideas how best to flatten it before I re-glue it on ?

Is it plastic? If so, immersing it in hot water may soften it enough to allow you to correct the bend, holding it in place until cool.

Will try that. I have hot water to the sink in the garage, so will get it properly warm & then clamp in the vice to hold it flat as it cools !!

The water may need to be very hot, close to boiling in fact.

A woodwork vice would be safer, clamp it lightly and heat with a heatgun, clamping tighter as it softens, protect it from marking with two pieces of silicone like soldering mat material, then leave it clamped until it cools completely, just an idea.

I did consider using my heat gun, but was concerned about damaging it !!

For now after 5mins or so in boiling water, it's sitting between these two wood blocks. Don't have a woodwork vice !!

Risky with a heat gun in my experience, all to easy to overheat one spot.

You may need to clamp with a slight opposite curve.

Still difficult to heat evenly over the whole length IMO.
