Hi guys I have had a post up in the WANTED section and no replys so I have brought it up here under your nose. :D

I am after a Diesel Engine to put in place of my old 2.25 D....Dont want anything smaller than a 2.5 D but a 2.5td would be nice. Perkins with conversion plate ect ect....

Its got to fit straight onto my series 3 box as I am not messing about with buying expensive conversion plates. It dont matter if its in need of repair as I can sort all this out before I fit it.....SO what have you got...

Dont want to travel to far to pic up and cheep is the word.....

WHAT HAVE YOU GOT AND WHERE ARE YOU AND IF IT NEEDS WORK WHAT WORK.
 
Hi miniman, got a perkins engine for sale if you are interested not sure what size though, it needs is a radiator to fit it you can have it with the adaptor plate for £300 if thats any good, the clutch is off a range rover, it was used with a s2 gearbox so I am not sure if it will fit, do you know? I am in walsall but I should be able to meet you somewhere if you like.
 
Cheers but a bit much for my pocket so its still for sale if anyone is after a Perkins with adaptor plate. Yes it will fit a series 3 gearbox aswell....
So if anyone wants a VERY torquey engine for a series motor give woolster a shout....
 
FFS MINI, YOU TIGHT OLD SOD, 300 BUCKS FOR A PERKY C/W PLATE, ITS A GOOD PRICE THAT, I TELL YOU WHAT, IVE GOT A 2 HORSE BRIGGS ENGINE IN MY GARAGE , YOU CAN HAVE IT FOR A tenner;)
 
Ha Ha ya funny. Hey I got 2 5.5hp Briggs on me mowers may be strap them together and it be a good blower for me 2.25D......lol

STILL LOOKING FOR A ENGINE
