Hope fully I have posted in the right group.

I am looking for a defender 90/110. Can part ex a mazda 6, 04 plate 134000m on the clock good condition.

Looking for the defender to use for work (search and rescue) and training.

As much help or guidance please.

Who you searching for and trying to rescue............. Sounds like a independent contractor

Anyone who goes missing and police need help, we get called in is a volunteer organisation.

Won't the police donate 1 then as you do there work?

And do you charge for your services?

No northamptonshire constabulary are apparently broke so cannot go that way and no we are classed as a charity but cannot get our charitable status unless our outgoings are 5k a year and we are newly set up.

I have alway wanted a defender and don't mind using it for the job either.

As a charity can you claim the vat back if you buy a commercial VATable machine. It's cash worth having if you can get it back.
