I build cars at rolls royce dont do crap sorry.....and have always spent good money on cars....most of the p38s ive seen on ebay have 22" rims and on springs......so before you all go and say dont go fitting this and that your all be like a normal forum when someone wants to fit something different you all go off on one get over it come on....:D
If you "don't do crap", what are you doing with a P38 on springs? The EAS is one of the P38's best features and is trouble free if maintained, they are crap on springs.

As far as i am concerned people who fit coils to their P38s have seriously low technical ability. Repairing the EAS is a pretty simple job, so if they can't do that their maintenance skills are questionable. Buying one on coils from someone who claimed to have done his own servicing, would be a complete no no for me.

Ignore them - this is traditional in-forum bitching..... you put whatever size of wheels you like on. You'll be needing a winch on the back as well.

I like the idea of a Rolls Royce Wrath.....

...together with the Bentley Umbrage.....

......alongside the Aston Martin Vengeance......

The project P38 I bought has 19" wheels on it.
So far not noticed any handling problems.
Mind you Ive only driven it off the trailer and into the garage:D

"your all be like a normal forum"

Perhaps by now you may be starting to realise that this is definitely NOT a normal forum . . . :)

Mine has 19" sport wheels and steers beautifully, no tramlining or wandering. all steering joints are in excellent condition.

Mine has 19" fitted, lad gave them to me with good tyres on, so it would have been rude not to use them. No problems at all other than a slightly harsher ride on bumpy bits. Car looks a lot more balanced with them on.

Dare I say it, Mines on 22 inch wheels and drives fine on most roads. Wanders around a bit on rough roads but I'll live with that.
