So
eka code required if fob needs synced

Syncmate/nanocom/faultmate/t4 required if fob operates doors/alarm engine turns over but will not start.

I have been offered a snap on diagnostics from a local garage will that be able to resync?

I will be ordering a syncmate tomorrow.

Unfortunately I am away working from Saturday through to Thursday ☹️ so u cannot play around with he car till then.

Less all the problems I'm very happy with the p38 I paid £200 for.

Previous owner has said many new parts fitted, new airbags, new tyres, new tailgate, new rocker cover.
Just need to get her running.

Contemplating scrapping my current p38 as it rough around the edges. Would their be any interest in a rough looking p38?

Domino is across the water. For £50 you could add the EDC module to his Nanocom and do some deal with him should you need it.

Yes I had seen domino is in Edinburgh. I'm sure someone tagged him earlier but he has failed to comment.

The problem with resync is the car has to be near the diagnostics. So I'd much rather have the syncmate handy. Much rather someone had it second hand and I could get it atleast half new price.

My sync issues seemed to come from having the old RF receiver. Not had any issues since. With Nanocom you can disable passive immobilisation and the like and that seems to stop it happening too.

Thankyou again Brian, this is not the first time you’ve done this for me :);):) - I clicked the link and they gave me £10 off so had it delivered for £3.13!!! and it says it’s the last one.

Bargain and I know I can fit it without breaking anything as I’ve already had that part off my alternator before.

A syncmate re-syncs the engine ecu to the BECM, which is not the same as an immobiliser problem due to loss of FOB sync.
