Hi All,

My poor old girl is currently in possession of a two-part exhaust manifold, and apparently the done thing is to have a whole one...

Does anyone please have a 2.25 diesel manifold lying around, or failing that, I heard a 2.5n/a will do the job? Any offers/pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers, Jamie

I don't think anyone is making these any more. A few months ago the odd new one was over £250. If you find anyone supplying them, I'd also have one too at the right price but I suspect it might be a challenge

That's what I heard, but I just can't get my head round why! I wondered whether a petrol manifold would fit, with the intake manifold mount blanked off...?

Hmm, not sure. I would try calling Dunsfold Land Rover. They have a huge spares department and lots of older used stuff in crates too. Not sure where you are but they will post stuff. If they cant help they will usually point you in the right direction

Thanks for that Land Raver, Dunsfold are the next port of call!

Pef77 - It's three bolt, even harder to get hold of! :/

And Pef77 - I see you're in Bristol, I'm in Bath...know of any good, (sympathetic), MOT testers around here?! :)

It's possible if you find a local place that does custom exhausts, and get them to make you one (not cast iron probably, but they could surely make one with normal tube? ) and that could be cheaper, back when I had my series I had a similar problem, and a few places said they sold the manifolds and then when you order or even after the order they send an email saying. Sorry it's out of stock, luckily just before we got someone to make a new one, one came up on another forum and we managed to sort it, hope this helps :)

got two three stud (one repaired one off an engine recently might need some new studs) pm me.. the only mot station i use is venture tyres just up from bristol dogs home but not taken the landy there yet.. used them for all my other motors tho..

They don't fit I have tried this, the only problem is that that the front pipe on the exhaust doesnt fit the hole in the bottom of the manifold, also although there are 3 holes on the exhaust to fit and 3on the manifold ( to make it easy for me explain I'll call it a triangle) the triangle of holes are different sizes, if you had a milling machine, would be simple I think to modify, not sure you can mill cast iron though due to cracking etc, (also the holes on the engine do match the manifold, hope this helps :)

Thanks everyone for the replies! Pef77 - thank you so much, I will get right on that! Telboy111, thank you very much for the offer - that would have been the best option if I couldn't find one, I was aware of the issues fitting it as per Ben Waine's advice, and after that, a custom exhaust may have had to be the way forwards! Thanks again everyone! :)

Pef77 - Just pm'ed you, but my sentbox isn't showing any sent messages so not sure if you've got it?! Cheers!
