I want to know how much work peops are willing to do themselves to keep costs down! ie assembly, fitting, wiring, drilling holes, to name a few?

DD

as much as poss to keep the price down :)

if you have your own Laser cutter, i'll program it and cut out the parts for us ;)

i int got me own :(

but i knows how to work one, or did 7 yrs ago :)

tbh a good plasma cutter with a straight edge will do the same job and cheaper.

oh and me tea is the best in the whole of Gods County (no thats not Lincolnshire JamesMartin afore yer chime in :p)

Ooh an excuse to get a plasma cutter! Tbh I've got enough stuff to cut one out but it'd be a pain! Just easy to pick up a dozen identical ones!

Yeh I wish I had one too :(. I use 'em alot too, they are great tools but like you said they're not cheap to get stuff made on them if you int got your own :(.

they were just bringing out waterjet when I left, now the cut on them is summat else.
with no heat distortion :) or welding  no totally cleaning the plates before cutting :)

Not thick enough for me! Prolly ok for the odd green laning bump but can't assume that's all it's gonna do! I abuse the crap out of mine. Thinking min of 6mm poss 8! Mantec ones are 8 and just plain sheet, cos its cheaper!

8mm can still be done with a jigga, but will be slower to cut.

like you said earlier if you can order it to size that would solve the pronblem.

Meanwhile I've still got my buggy to finish! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1352758034.752486.jpg
